Haywire is open…..AND IT’S SICK!!! We have six rail pads at the top of the trail with 2-3 features on each. A few of our older features were brought back from the dead this year, and those are thrown in alongside stuff like the down-flat-down and kinked snowmaking pipe. After the rail section, we set up a 4-set of jumps that absolutely ooze flow. To top the jump line off, Jake and the gang built a stair-set feature that’s absolutely incredible. We’d love to get into details about it, but it can’t really be explained with words. At the very end of the trail, there’s a MASSIVE quarterpipe and a spine sorta deal. Come check it out!
Stomping Grounds just got rebuilt, and it’s SUPER fun. A run through the park looks like this: flat box on 45-degree bank, hitching post to down box, flat-down box, round bar down beside a down pipe with kink, staggered plastic culverts, flat rail with a gap to down, ledge box, flat box on a hip, flat snowmaking pipe, and an up box between two kickers to top it off. Come shred it with us!
Also- We are blowing tons of snow in Haywire. Yes, we’ve been saying that for a month now, but we are finally getting close to opening. Be looking for some massive features to be taking shape in the next couple weeks. It’s going to be a little different than normal this year, but that won’t be a bad thing. We’re stoked.
Jamie Walter makes cool edits, and this is yet another by him. He’s going around the Northeast shredding and filming with the local kids, and this is the latest. It features our early-season parks, as well as Loon’s and Sunday River’s. Enjoy!
The superpipe is open, and it’s superfun! This is a quick video from the past weekend. Also…Haywire snowmaking was temporarily put on hold due to the tropical weather we’ve had, but it should be back online ASAP.
Stay classy Sugarloafers.
Tons of stuff is happening in Sugarloaf’s terrain parks this week! We are currently pushing snow like madmen to get the Superpipe ready as soon as possible. Also, piles are being made in Haywire, so we hope to have that open SOON (we want it as much as you guys do). To top it all off, we switched the setup in Stomping Grounds to keep things fresh until the new stuff opens. Hope you guys enjoy!
We hosted the annual Tucker’s Boardercross for Cancer last weekend, and this is some footage of a practice run. The course was awesome, but the cause was even better.

Today, we threw a grill at the bottom of the Skybound park and cooked a bunch of s’mores for our PEEPS members. For you guys that don’t know what PEEPS is, it’s Boyne’s park etiquette and protection program. In short, we don’t want to have people getting injured in our parks, so we go out of our way to educate our skiers and riders. Yes Mom and Dad, throwing down in the terrain park can be safe.

We like stuff like this. If you guys make cool edits and we like them, we’ll throw them up on here!
If you follow us on here and blog to us, it will be the easiest way for us to check ‘em out.
Here’s our latest video update! We recently opened the Skybound progression park and Sidewinder, our signature boardercross trail. Also, there’s tons of snow being blown in the superpipe right now, so that should be up and running soon!
